2. Eric Gray will suddenly have a lot of attention on him

With Barkley set to be away from the team for camp, other running backs are going to have to step up to fill the void. Veteran RB Matt Breida is back on a one-year deal and he should be getting the first looks with the 1s, but fifth-round pick Eric Gray is going to be featured quite a bit as well. What can we expect from the rookie?

Only a few weeks ago, the main focus around Gray was if he'd be able to win the RB2 job. However, that all has changed now that Barkley is leaving the door open to miss NY's season-opener against the Cowboys. Out of nowhere, fans are now pushing for Gray to make the leap to RB1 and get himself ready to be a problem for the Dallas defense.

Last season for Oklahoma, the 5-9, 205-pounder rushed for 1,366 yards and 11 touchdowns. He's a talented RB who isn't afraid of some contact. No one is expecting him to be a Pro Bowler this year, but Gray will have a great chance to make noise at camp with an increased workload. He and Breida should be ready to help this offense out throughout camp.
