2. EDGE Azeez Ojulari

There was a lot of potential with Azeez Ojulari, and there honestly may still be. However, the 23-year-old outside linebacker has played 13 games in the past two seasons, and when on the field in 2023 Ojulari has looked like a shell of his former self. It was one thing last season that he missed games, because he was still incredibly productive, racking up 5.5 sacks through seven contests. This season though, he's yet to earn a single sack through six.

Sure, injuries can play a role in his poor performance, but this is two injury-riddled seasons in a row and the Giants can't afford to keep wasting time with a player who hasn't been productive. Joe Schoen needs to build around guys like Dexter Lawrence and Kayvon Thibodeaux ASAP and if that means bringing in someone else to play over Ojulari, it may need to happen.

Through six games this season, Ojulari has racked up four tackles, zero sacks, and nine pressures. For how much hype was surrounding him before the season started, it's easy to say he hasn't lived up to it. We're hopeful that Ojulari proves us wrong because if he can play like he did the last two seasons while remaining healthy, he very well could regain his spot as a key member of this Giants' defense.
