2. WR David Sills
Compared to last season, the Giants receiving core is looking exponentially more talented. While this is a good thing, this means that some pretty solid players could have to be let go. David Sills may not be a star player by any means, but he had a decent role on the team toward the beginning of the season.
With the addition of Jalin Hyatt, Parris Campbell, and Bryce Ford-Wheaton, alongside players like Sterling Shepard and Collin Johnson coming back from injury, there is almost no way Sills is retained. While the connection to Daniel Jones could give him an edge, it shouldn't be enough to give him a roster spot over players who are clearly more deserving.
Through two seasons with New York, Sills has caught 11 passes for 106 yards and zero touchdowns. All due respect to Sills, but there are simply too many players with more potential and production for him to stay around. Sills is a talented player that very well could stick around on a different team and be relatively productive. However, for the first time in a while, the Giants have a pretty darn talented receiving core, so a player like Sills very well could be on his way out.
