1. WR Gabriel Davis

Alas, we’ve made it to the free agent who’s more likely than not going to be heavily linked to the Giants more than anyone this offseason in Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis. Once upon a time in Orchard Park, it looked like Davis was going to turn into a superstar wide receiver. Opposite Stefon Diggs, Davis developed an innate chemistry with star quarterback Josh Allen, Brian Daboll and the aforementioned Schoen played a big role in the wide receiver’s success.

However, it hasn’t come close to getting replicated since Daboll and Schoen took their talents to East Rutherford, at least not with the consistency we saw during the onset of his NFL career. There were far too many games throughout the last couple of seasons where Davis was simply invisible, which isn’t what Bills faithful were expecting from the former UCF wideout.

Similar to the case against Brown, the Giants need a stud at wide receiver if they’re going to spend big bucks in March. That’s not what they’d be getting with either of the free agent options at their disposal.
