4. Carolina Panthers EDGE Brian Burns
The Panthers are currently the worst team in the NFL and one that doesn’t even have their own first-round draft pick, so if a team is looking for possible draft picks, it’s them.
Given the fact that Azeez Ojulari has had a lot of trouble staying healthy and is hard to depend on health wise, the Giants absolutely can use another pass-rusher and this is where Brian Burns comes into play.
Burns already had four sacks and is on his way to another possible double-digit sack season like he did in 2022 with 12.5. Burns is also entering free agency as well, so buying on Burns might be a possible rental scenario, but he’d also give Wink Martindale another sold pass-rusher on the edge to go along with Kayvon Thibodeaux, who is starting to find his groove after a slow start.
The pass-rush for the Giants got going last week against the Washington Commanders. Adding a player the caliber like Burns can really give it a spark and boost. If the Giants make something happen here, fans would absolutely love it.
