5. Making a splash by landing OL Mike Onwenu

As we already mentioned, the offensive line must be a top priority for Schoen and the G-Men. When the New England Patriots decided to place the transition tag on Kyle Dugger, this was great news for Schoen. This meant that the Pats wouldn't be able to tag stud offensive guard Mike Onwenu, opening the door for him to leave in free agency.

We like him packing his bags for East Rutherford soon. Onwenu is the kind of guard Schoen HAS to be going after in free agency. He's a stud on the interior and his size alone is enough to scare opposing defensive linemen: Onwenu checks in at 6-3, 350 pounds. Yeah, that's a massive presence up front.

Over the past four seasons with New England, Onwenu has showcased versatility, lining up at guard and tackle. He has 64 appearances to his name, with 56 starts. The Giants will likely be in on Robert Hunt and Jonah Jackson as well, but if we had to pick one OG for the front office to prioritize, we're going with Onwenu.
