3. Letting Xavier McKinney sign with the Eagles

This will be another tough pill to swallow for Big Blue supporters, but Xavier McKinney has played his last down for the team. A lot of people thought Schoen would tag McKinney, but he didn't and now the standout safety is ready to find a new home. McKinney has said several times that he wants to return to the Giants, but for the right price.

Just like Barkley, Schoen doesn't want to overspend on a safety and he's willing to let McKinney walk. The bad news here, though, is that reports have surfaced stating that the Eagles are going to have interest in signing him. While we don't believe Barkley will end up with the Giants rival, we can't say the same for McKinney.

Call it a gut feeling, but we envision McKinney joining the Birds before you know it. It's going to sting, especially if McKinney posts an interception or two off of Jones or whoever is starting next campaign. We wish McKinney all the best with his next team, but we're going to hate seeing him in green instead of blue.
