2. RB Josh Jacobs
Last season, Josh Jacobs was among the best running backs in the league. The Raiders halfback finished with 1,653 yards and 12 touchdowns and was named an All-Pro and Pro Bowler by the NFL. Jacobs was voted the fifth-best offensive player behind Justin Jefferson, Patrick Mahomes, Jalen Hurts, and Tyreek Hill.
While the fifth-year running back has not performed to the level he did last season, you can never bet against him, especially against a Giants' defensive line that has struggled at times this year. New York has allowed two players to finish with at least 100 yards in one game and allowed rushing touchdowns to nine players this season. Big Blue will also be weaker on the line without former Pro Bowl tackle Leonard Williams, who was dealt to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for a pair of picks this week during the NFL trade deadline.
The last time Jacobs faced the Giants was during the 2021 NFL regular season. He finished with 76 yards rushing on 13 carries. We can expect Jacobs to have a good showing against Big Blue after an impressive performance last week against the Detroit Lions. Despite the loss on MNF, Jacobs rushed for 61 yards and was the only member of the Raiders offense to score a touchdown.
