3. Sterling Shepard
While maybe not constituting as much of a draft steal as these fifth-round guys, Sterling Shepard has meant as much to the Giants as anyone throughout his career. As a second-round pick from Oklahoma, Shepard has embodied what it means to be a Giants ever since his start in 2016. With 372 career receptions and over 4,000 receiving yards in 90 games as a Giant, Shepard's productivity matched his impact.
Whether lining up alongside Eli Manning or Jones, Shepard has been a security blanket as a slot receiver and has become a fan favorite over the years. With Shepard battling father time and the Giants handing the reins over to Wan'Dale Robinson, 2023 was the last season of Shepard in NY. Fortunately, Shepard was able to bid his farewell to the organization and get a proper sendoff.
As Shepard continues contemplating signing with a new squad or retiring, Giants fans will always appreciate his efforts in NY. Regardless of what's next, Shepard will always be a Giant at heart. He will be missed in New Jersey.
