Remember when the haters were claiming that Andrew Thomas was a first-round bust? Yeah, those same people are probably still trying to say that the future isn't looking bright for the NY Giants either. Come on, we know that's not the case.

For Thomas, he has not only showcased a major improvement in recent seasons, but he has solidified himself as a Top 5 offensive tackle in the game. Just ask CBS Sports about that, as they've shown the stud left tackle some major love in their new rankings.

CBS dropped its OT rankings recently and they have Thomas slotted in at No. 5. While we think he should be a little higher than that, fans will take this. Keep in mind that he was nowhere near the Top 10 entering last season. That's no longer the case.

LT Andrew Thomas is one of the best in the game for the NY Giants

"The most improved tackle in the league was Thomas, who gives hope to a Giants offensive line that couldn't get out of its own way at times in 2022. A Second Team All-Pro selection, Thomas allowed four sacks and 20 pressures in 578 pass-blocking snaps last season (3.5% pressure rate). Not only is Thomas a good pass protector, but he's also one of the top run-blocking tackles in the game. Since the second half of the 2021 season, Thomas has been one of the best tackles in football. The Giants have a stalwart at left tackle."

Thomas indeed is coming off a memorable campaign for the G-Men, taking home Second Team All-Pro honors. The offensive line has been a nightmare for the Giants in recent years, but Thomas has given fans hope that good days are on the way.

Not only are people excited about Thomas, but Evan Neal figures to post quite the jump in Year 2, while expectations are high for rookie center John Michael Schmitz. Thomas will be the leader for this young group - a group which is in great hands with AT manning things.

Soon enough, Thomas will also be landing himself quite the major payday from general manager Joe Schoen. There's no question he has earned it.
