3. The Giants pass rush
When the Giants and Commanders last played, the Giants defense got to Sam Howell quite a bit. Bfore the game, the Giants had five sacks total in the six games prior to Washington. Then the Giants got to Howell six times and pressured him the entire game. Dexter Lawrence and Kayvon Thibodeaux combined for 3.5 of those six sacks and were absolutely dominant against the Commanders offensive line.

Over the last two games, the Giants defense and pass rush has struggled, as they have zero sacks in the losses to the Las Vegas Raiders and Dallas Cowboys. With the Commanders being susceptible to giving up a lot of pressure and sacks, this is the kind of game for the Giants pass rush to get going.
Eeryone remembers Thibodeaux’ s breakout performance last season in Washington where he looked like a one-man wrecking crew on defense. The Giants could use another game like that from their second-year pass rusher.
