2. LB Chris Braswell

If Chris Braswell is there at No. 39 overall, the Giants have to take him because he won't be there at No. 47. The senior out of Alabama would be a true game changer for this Giants defense. As good as Robinson looks, Braswell is that next level up. Braswell is the EDGE guy that should be first on Schoen's list.

Just this past season, Braswell had eight sacks, 10.5 tackles for loss and even an interception. He can cover the field and has elite hands, which he can use to get past any offensive linemen in his way. Not only does Braswell exceed in getting behind the line of scrimmage, but he has shown flashes out in pass coverage. He has natural balance and footwork that allow him to stay with tight ends out in space.

His pass coverage is the area of his game that looks to need the most improvement, but he's developed a solid base throughout his college career. The Giants seem to be all in on getting an offensive playmaker in the first round. Round 2 is where they can get their playmaker on the defensive side.
