If you were expecting a relaxing and calm offseason for the NY Giants, that's clearly not going to be the case. Things got started with Wink Martindale resigning from his position and cursing Brian Daboll out while resigning. Goodness.

Now, a new report from insider Pat Leonard is only making things more troubling for the G-Men and Daboll, as his sources are working overtime to make Coach Dabes look bad. In Leonard's piece, plenty of concerning details have arrived. To start, apparently Daboll ripped into Martindale's defense for costing them a win against the Jets. Really?

Brian Daboll and Wink Martindale's feud kept getting worse during the season

This news is pretty damn head-turning. Things clearly reached a boiling point in the lopsided loss to the Cowboys, with Martindale and Daboll going after one another at halftime. Per Leonard, it got to the point where Daboll was basically screaming into the headset to go after Martindale and Co., causing issues for them getting plays in.

Yeah, that's a terrible look for Daboll. Not only that, but apparently other coaches felt like they were walking on eggshells throughout the season and they couldn't handle how Daboll treated his assistants as a whole. There are two sides to every story, but fans are worried about Daboll's reputation among his staff.

From our chair, though, the fact that this report has dropped in the middle of Coach Dabes needing to make several new hires is concerning. The Giants have replaced Bobby Johnson as offensive line coach with Carmen Bricillo, but Daboll still needs to hire a running backs coach, special teams coordinator AND a Martindale replacement at defensive coordinator.

We can't imagine candidates are going to be too excited to see what Leonard wrote this week. With some of his sources still being in the building in East Rutherford too, it only makes things worse for the soon-to-be third-year head coach.
