4. OL Donovan Smith - Kansas City Chiefs
The Giants need offensive line help; Kansas City Chiefs left tackle Donovan Smith would be great for the G-Men. Not only is he a New York native, but he fills a significant need for the Giants. Big Blue struggled at both tackle positions, with Andrew Thomas missing considerable time due to injuries and Evan Neal underperforming and dealing with his injuries.
Still, the Giants could use all the O-Line depth they can get, and the 30-year-old lineman makes sense for those reasons. This season, Smith was a starter and played 749 snaps for the Chiefs. He had nine penalties and allowed two sacks, earning a 55.4 overall grade by Pro Football Focus.
Before joining Kansas City for the 2023 season, he spent eight seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team in 2015, andwon a ring with the team in 2020. The veteran would significantly upgrade the Giants on the offensive line.
