It may be hard to look past the record for NY Giants fans, but there's no question that some guys have been bright spots for head man Brian Daboll. While we've seen some players disappoint on both sides of the ball, others have impressed.

For a lot of people, they've been focusing on the negatives for the G-Men with the team at 4-8 on the campaign. However, let these four players in particular give you some hope for the rest of the season and the future as well.

4. Linebacker Micah McFadden

Micah McFadden has been a standout on this Wink Martindale-led defense this season. Fans were not impressed by the rookie after his first campaign on the team, but to be a fifth-round pick thrown into a starting position can be a tough transition for any player.

This year, McFadden has looked like an absolute steal, with him getting better with each game. Thus far this season, McFadden has 74 tackles, 45 of them being solo, an interception, and 0.5 sacks. He's looked great thus far.

McFadden has looked like a completely different player this year. Fans were calling for the Giants to make a move at linebacker this past offseason, dissatisfied with the play of McFadden. Well, the Giants went out and signed Bobby Okereke, lined him up next to McFadden, and the two have been a great combo in the middle. We're excited to see what McFadden can keep doing the rest of the way.
