Even Tommy DeVito's dad can't believe how bad the Giants play-calling is

There was once a time when NY Giants head coach Brian Daboll and his staff felt like they could do no wrong. Now, though, it feels like we can't go a week without people scratching their heads for a decision made by Big Blue in a crucial spot.

Such was the case against the Cowboys on Sunday in Arlington. On 4th down, after a huge Cor'Dale Flott interception set the Giants up deep in Dallas territory, Daboll decided to go for it to try and tie the score at 7-7. However, a run to Saquon Barkley was called, which no one could believe. This includes Tommy DeVito's dad, who was not happy with the run:

Brian Daboll has NY Giants fans upset early on against the Cowboys

Dallas' run defense has been sensational and Barkley hasn't been able to make anything happen with the ball in his hands at that point. So, instead of throwing the ball, with a make-shift offensive line, you run the ball and get stuffed?

A quick look at social media shows that Giants fans are not happy with Daboll, offensive coordinator Mike Kafka and defensive coordinator Wink Martindale for that matter. In the middle of writing this piece, Dak Prescott hit Brandin Cooks for a touchdown, putting Dallas up 21-0.

The only good news from this game has been that Andrew Thomas has been able to get back on the field after it looked like he suffered a serious injury in the first quarter - he was carted back to the locker room with a knee injury, but is just fine.

With a loss against the Cowboys surely on the way, the G-Men are about to fall to 2-8 on the season. The Giants have made life way too easy for Dallas and Prescott on Sunday. Unfortunately, we're used to seeing NY play like this, but the disappointing calls from the staff, especially Daboll, are getting old.
