With all the talks surrounding what the NY Giants may do with their No. 6 overall selection in the 2024 NFL Draft, it seems that some are forgetting that they have a few picks in the middle rounds that could bring in some pretty talented players. While New York hasn't had a great track record past the first round in recent years, you never know which player could prove to be a diamond in the rough.

These four players are likely going in the second to fourth-round range and if the Giants are smart, they'll keep their eyes on them during the 2024 NFL Combine. Not only do we think they could be stars, but a good Combine performance could boost their stock a bit and showcase why they'd be worth taking over others:

4. CB Kamari Lassiter, Georgia

If Kamari Lassiter had less of a wiry frame, we'd have no doubt that he'd be a first-round pick. However, his 6-0, 180-pound build is going to knock him down draft boards a bit, but Joe Schoen shouldn't let this discourage him from looking into Lassiter as a potential option next to Deonte Banks next year.

Despite his small frame, Lassiter was a monster on the outside at Georgia. In 14 games last season, Lassiter allowed just 15 receptions on 39 targets for 136 yards and zero touchdowns while breaking up five passes. He's an incredibly fluid athlete who has been incredible in both man and zone coverage, so it really surprises us that he's been projected to fall out of the first round.

His frame definitely should concern some, but we've seen plenty of NFL corners dominate on the outside while being smaller. Even Cor'Dale Flott on the Giants, who has a similar frame to Lassiter, has shown flashes of excellence against guys like A.J. Brown. Lassiter is very physical and aggressive. While this can come back to bite him at times, it's hard to knock a prospect for playing with such passion.
