  • Devin Singletary
  • Eric Gray
  • Gary Brightwell
  • Dante Miller
  • Tyrone Tracy Jr.
  • Deon Jackson

One of the more challenging things Schoen and Daboll were tackled with heading into the offseason, free agency and the draft was how they were going to replace Saquon Barkley, who had been the face of the franchise and one of the team’s most popular players over the last six seasons.

On the same day Barkley signed with the Philadelphia Eagles, the Giants added veteran Devin Singletary, who on paper, will be the team’s starting running back and likely split the carries. But who will Singletary split the duties with? Eric Gray is likely the next guy up, but he didn’t look impressive in his minimal time played im 2023.

There is also Dante Miller, who was an undrafted free agent signing who came in before and signed before the draft due to a technicality with the NCAA and the NFL. He could be a potential hidden gem. The Giants also added Tyrone Tracy Jr. in the fifth round, a running back who has also played wide receiver and can be a kick returner. Tracy might stick as a kick returner, but if he can be that Deebo Samuel-type of player for the Giants, he could see an increased role.
