3. Get to Jalen Hurts

With Landon Dickerson not playing due to thumb surgery, that takes some pressure off of facing Philadelphia's strong offensive line. It's not an easy ask, especially with Dexter Lawrence, A'Shawn Robinson and Rakeem Nunez-Roches all missing practice on Wednesday due to injuries. The Giants had to claim DL Timmy Horne off of the Falcons' practice squad for extra insurance in case one or multiple of the names above can't play on Monday. Facing an Eagles interior line of Jason Kelce and Cam Jurgens is already a tough task, but playing them without Lawrence makes it even more difficult.

It's time for players to step up. The Giants defensive line was held in check last week, allowing Derek Carr to get comfortable and generating basically no pressure. Their lone sack of the day came on a blitz by Jason Pinnock. Kayvon Thibodeaux, who has 11.5 sacks this year, needs to feast this game. Azeez Ojulari needs to get going as well.

Whenever Wink Martindale decides to dial up blitzes, the Giants need to get home on Hurts. Hurts has struggled this year against the blitz, which could play into the Giants' favor if everything goes to plan.
