Who is playing Thursday Night Football?
We're inching closer to the midway point of the NFL season, which is hard to believe. As you already know by now, the new week will get started with a Thursday Night Football showdown and fans are excited for this one.
Come Thursday night, the Jacksonville Jaguars will be taking on the New Orleans Saints. Trevor Lawrence (if his knee is healthy) going up against Derek Carr? That's exactly what will be on the way. Which team will end up coming away with a win?
The Jaguars and Saints are set to meet for some Thursday Night Football
The Jaguars, 4-2, continue to make noise in the AFC South, as this team is hoping to go on a deep postseason run this winter. Lawrence and the offense has been humming, with wide receiver Calvin Ridley looking sharp in this first year with the team. Former NY Giants tight end Evan Engram has been solid too.
Meanwhile for the Saints, New Orleans enters this game at 3-3 on the year, which has been pretty disappointing. Carr hasn't lived up to the hype with his new squad, but he could get a lot of people off his back on Thursday if he can power his team to a win over Jacksonville.
With this game being played in New Orleans too, the Saints fans in the stands will hope to make a difference. They'll be ready to make a ton of noise if Carr throws a touchdown pass or two. This one could go either way - we can't wait to find out who pulls off the win.
