2. Mason Crosby whiffs on a potential game-winner

This isn't necessarily blaming Mason Crosby himself, as the 39-year-old kicker was recently signed to the active roster and should not have been put in a situation to try and hit a 54-yard game-winning field goal. However, for one reason or another, this is what the Giants played for and they paid the price.

The Giants had a good drive going on before they attempted the kick, so to essentially give up and settle for such a long field goal with plenty of time on the clock is truly mind-boggling to me. While sure, they may not have had timeouts, this doesn't excuse the fact that there were 42 seconds left when the Giants initially spiked the ball, which is plenty of time to try and continue the drive.

Instead, they ran it with Saquon, threw a pathetic incompletion to Wan'Dale Robinson, and put the game on the leg of Crosby, who missed the field goal, something that I think we all saw coming. This comes down to poor execution and coaching more than Crosby himself - it was embarrassing to watch unfold.
