 Giants Training Camp

Around this time of year, Twitter is a great resource, you can be everywhere around the football world without even leaving your computer. Everything is instant, pictures are all over and there are more variations of human personality hodge-podged into Twitter than any human brain can legitimately stand in a world of ME. Yet, like it or not, it’s great for sports coverage.

It gives us an opportunity to glance around Twitter to Giants fans and members of our GMEN HQ blogroll alike in search of pics from training camp. For instance, here’s a pic of Jon Beason with an attached twitter link from Rob Powers:

Jon Beason is a player that the Giants need to be healthy. When on, he’s the leader of the defense and one of the best players on the field. Foot injury or football, that’s a choice Jon Beason needs to make. If he chooses foot injury, rookies like Kennard and Fox are going to have to become stars real fast or the Giants might struggle.

However, they could also be watching the waiver wire as teams add and drop players before the regular season begins. You never know what players will end up on the surprise end of a pink slip for whatever reasons. It happens every year. That said, the Giants need to get healthy, and they need Jon Beason ready to go. Here’s someone excited for Giants camp, @Ken_Hodzic, check out this tweet:

Of course, Giants.com wants to highlight the Giants fans at camp, make people feel good, and why not, it’s football season. Here are their Twitter photos:

The ladies are out as well, Twitter user @Stacey1219 may only have 23 followers, but she posted some great pictures of Giant fun:

Eli Manning looks different:

Giants Nation, if you have pictures from camp, please, by all means, tweet them into @gmenhq and we’ll feature you in an upcoming post. For now, we’ll leave with a little video of some actual Giants hitting with pads on. In the video, it features Devon Kennard leading the way to camp legend status already:
