Everyone is excited about the New York Giants use of the number nine draft pick, Ereck Flowers. And we should be excited. Flowers is a big 6-6 339 pound tackle that handles his business up front. The Giants got a great player at a great value.

There are some questions about this selection, that only time will truly answer. Will he start at right tackle or left? Will he struggle in his rookie season? Does this pick help the Giants win now or is this a pick that will pay off over time?

These are all valid questions to ask about a rookie; especially when that rookie is responsible for protecting our franchise quarterback, Eli Manning. As I mentioned before, time will tell us the truth soon enough. Lucky for you, however I will take a run at each of these questions, giving you a sneak peek at the career of Flowers.
