The New York Giants are steeped in tradition at the linebacker position. Many could make the argument it was the deciding factor in two of their Super Bowl victories, and another one of their Super Bowl appearances.

It seems like every franchise has their position. Certain organizations have a great history at the quarterback position, while others it may be the wide receiver position. When you think New York Giants football you think of a history of great defense, and especially great linebacker play.

The face of that positional group is Lawrence Taylor. I don’t think many would waver from that presumption. So who are the 10 greatest in franchise history? To be honest, this list could probably extend a bit longer, but I’ll narrow it down for you. Without further ado, here are the 10 greatest linebackers in team history.
