October 4, 2015; Santa Clara, CA, USA; San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick (7) runs with the football during the fourth quarter against the Green Bay Packers at Levi

Here are the 10 things that you need to know to get you ready for Sunday Night Football. The Giants lost their first SNF game this season to the Dallas Cowboys. Can they get a win on the same SNF stage? We will get you in the know!

1. The 49ers Can Win This Game

Weeks 2-4 couldn’t have gone much worse for San Francisco. Now, their offense ranks last in total points, and second-to-last in passing yards–in all of football. Colin Kaepernick looks to have significantly regressed, and Carlos Hyde’s seemed to slow in the past couple of weeks.

This, all while the Giants defense looks like it’s continuing to gel and the offense is starting to form some sort of turnover-free rhythm. It’s a nice on-paper matchup for the Giants.

But, the NFL is the NFL. Even the 0-16 Lions were competitive, and any team can win, especially once they get a little momentum on their side. Sunday Night Football is a great stage to pick up some of that momentum, and should Colin Kaepernick get going–and that Giants pass rush disappear–the 49ers will be right in it til the end.

I’m not saying they’re going to win. Well–spoiler alert: I’m picking the Giants–but they do have a chance. Just because they’ve had a tough three weeks doesn’t mean they can’t possibly win this week. Don’t just write this team off.
