Last week when I highlighted my fantasy football matchup, I made some rather bold predictions. And I was rewarded big time!
The predictions were:
"• Eli will compete with Peyton this week for points. Call me crazy – but I think it’s a wash this week with the Mannings at QB. +- 0• I think both my running backs will outscore the opposition. +2• In the end, my receivers will do BETTER than the opposition. I think 2 out of 3 go to me. +1• Tamme will likely outscore Moeaki. -1• Giants Defense represent. +1• And kicking might decide this one, but for now it’s a wash. +- 0That leaves me with an overall advantage of +3 the way I see it. ESPN says this one is a push. We’ll see come Monday morning…."
Well here we are — and guess who won? Scratch that, guess who DOMINATED!?
- Eli blew out Peyton this week. I had a feeling he would compete, didn’t foresee such a lopsided victory there. But Eli put up some points this week.
- Both my running backs tore it up
- I won the receiver battle, 2 out of 3 as predicted
- TE battle happened as planned.
- Defense was only a small victory, but a victory
- And kicking was a wash.
So other than the QB victory for Eli, this one went down EXACTLY as scripted. Pretty cool actually. Manningham had a good game, thanks to all who participated in the poll.
