Line: Oakland Raiders +9.5 at New York Giants — O/U 44

The Oakland Raiders gave up an astonishing 7 touchdowns last week to Nick Foles in a 49-20 trouncing at home. The Giants are coming out of the bye week with two straight wins, including a 15-7 victory in their last match-up against the same Eagles team that embarrassed the Raiders. The Giants are also healthier than they have been in a while, although their secondary is still banged up. Conventional wisdom would say this should be a cake walk at home for the GMEN, but I have seen them fall victim way to many times in trap games like this one. Also, the Giants are 2-6 and people seem to forget that this just is not a very good football team by any stretch of the imagination. This line seems a bit too high to me. Actually, I am not going to back down from my prediction in the GMEN HQ staff predictions post

Prediction: Raiders 28, Giants 27
