Daily Fantasy Week Two: Tennessee Titans Sleeper Stack

I am going to take a look at what I believe will be a solid sleeper stack in daily fantasy leagues for the NFL week 2. If you aren’t familiar with daily fantasy, go check out either DraftKing or FanDuel today!
“Stacking” in daily fantasy refers to playing a combination of players on the same team due to a favorable match-up(s), or just a belief that a particular team will score a lot of points that week.

This week, I am loving the Tennessee Titans match-up against the dreadful Dallas Cowboys defense. Despite having a rough start to his career, Jake Locker looks to be finally turning the corner a bit. Locker is the 6th ranked fantasy QB off of his two-TD, 266 yards effort last weekend against a mediocre Chiefs secondary. Locker is also surprisingly mobile, and should be able to add some points on the ground to what I believe will be a 300+ yard effort through the air. At $7,100 on DraftKings (13th ranked QB) and $7,400 on FanDuel (17th ranked QB) he is also a solid value play.
Since I am feeling Locker’s match-up, I am also very high on one of the guys he will be throwing to, second year man Justin Hunter. Hunter had a pedestrian three receptions for 63 yards last week, but saw an encouraging eight targets. He has very high upside, and at $4,300 on DraftKings (44th ranked WR) and $5,700 on FanDuel (42nd ranked WR) he brings great value to the table.
Lastly, let’s not forget about the Titans running back, Shonn Greene. Greene isn’t exactly the “flashiest” of fantasy players, but he is the workhorse back for the Titans getting 15 carries last week. Greene should have a very good chance at scoring a TD against the Cowboys, and at $3,300 on DraftKings (42nd ranked RB) and $5,000 on FanDuel (50th ranked RB) you are getting him at bargain basement prices. His match-up and volume alone should make him a top-30 back this week.
So, if you are looking for a solid value stack this week in daily fantasy, Jake Locker, Justin Hunter, and Shonn Greene are your guys. Not only can you put yourself in a good spot to win some money, but you also will have a fantastic time rooting against “America’s Team” in the Cowboys.
