Washington Redskins Report Card: C+
Finally we move to the last team on the list, the Washington Redskins. They seemed to be the forgotten team and the weakest link in the NFC East, but their recent moves are showing they want to make an impact. The highest ranked player they signed so far is Knighton from the Broncos. A solid, strong and experienced defensive tackle who captained the Denver Broncos’ defensive line.
All four of their signings include Culliver, Paea, and strong safety Jeron Johnson are defensive players, so the Redskins are looking at that end to succeed. They’ve re-signed quarterback Colt McCoy, which was smart because we all know how that knee injury has affected Robert Griffin III.
The departures of Helu and Orakpo could hurt them in the long run, but if they slowly pick at the free agent market, then they won’t be missed. The Redskins need to use the market to be relevant again, if they sign key components like they have been, their grade will no doubt increase.
