Washington is by far the most underrated player on the Giants roster. Last season, Washington was cut by the Arizona Cardinals and the Giants were quick to add him to the roster. Washington showed a shocking resemblance to Cruz in the 2014 preseason.

He scored a touchdown in every game preseason game that he played in and all were in critical moments of the game. He also scored a touchdown against the Indianapolis Colts in the regular season as well. While that was considered a “garbage time” touchdown because the Giants were getting blown out, a score is still a score.

Washington should definitely get more reps in 2015. Why he didn’t see more playing time after a preseason like that is still a mystery. Washington once again has a chance to show the Giants what he’s made of this offseason. Hopefully they will recognize his abilities this time around.
