New York Giants: Offseason Review
After a disappointing 6-10 2014 NFL season plagued by injuries the New York Giants look to rebuild their team. So far they have re-signed several of their players and have signed a handful of free agents, highlighted by Shane Vereen and Dwayne Harris.
The George Selvie signing was extra special. He once played under defensive Coordinator Steve Spagnuolo with the St. Louis Rams. He also played with Jason Pierre-Paul at the University of South Florida.

The Giants are doing a good job addressing the needs on both sides of the football. The Giants are doing what they have to do this offseason, even if it does not look flashy. They are making key decisions that will improve the team in the 2015 season.
The Giants lost Antrel Rolle to the Chicago Bears in free agency. The Giants are now in need of help at the strong safety position. General manager, Jerry Reese should target this position in the 2015 NFL Draft; Landon Collins from Alabama would fill the Giants need at strong safety. The Giants also need help on both the offensive and defensive line.
If the Giants are able to fill the rest of their needs in the upcoming NFL draft, I truly feel that they can be a better team than what we’ve seen in the past few seasons. With so many shake-ups in the NFC East the Giants have a really good chance at being a strong contender to win the division and make the playoffs. The Giants may not be Super Bowl favorites, but as you know anything can happen if you just get into the postseason.
