What? How does it make sense to trade within your own division? Well, if the price is right, why not? Chip Kelly’s offseason has been highly scrutinized by many because of the way he’s rebuilt this football team. I for one, am a fan of his decision-making because the guy has proved to have success at every level he’s been at. He has plenty of credibility.

So, who would Philly want to acquire at the 9th overall spot? Well, the obvious pick just like many on this list would be Marcus Mariota. Well duh, that’s what everyone’s been talking about since the 2015 NFL Combine rolled in, but could he be willing to go in another direction on the other side of the football with this pick as well?

The Eagles’ defensive secondary was one of the worst in the league last season, so a guy like Landon Collins or Trae Waynes would make sense with this pick. Also, with the loss of Jeremy Maclin they could be looking at Devante Parker to bolster that thin positional group.

I apologize for making you scratch your head on this one, but you really have no idea how the draft plays out. If Philly winds up throwing a boatload of draft picks or players at the Giants they would be stupid not to take a listen. Overall, the Giants should have plenty of teams interested in trading picks with them depending on where the chips fall at this year’s draft.
