1. Marcus Mariota, QB (Oregon)
There will be some that will lose their minds when they see that Marcus Mariota is ranked first on my big board. That is because there are so many misnomers about Mariota, that many people are blind to his talents.
Mariota’s footwork is flawless. He has great mechanics and great accuracy. I don’t care what offense you play for, great throwing motions translate to success in the National Football League. Mariota is not just a system quarterback, he has the talent and the high football IQ to succeed in any offense.
Mariota is a superstar and nothing rattles him. He is a quiet leader who does what he does in such a genuine way. He is an unflappable stud and he will shine in the NFL. What I love most about Mariota’s game is his ability to extend the play while keeping his eyes down the field. He makes big plays with his arm and he avoids bad plays with his legs.
I really do believe in Mariota could be an amazing franchise quarterback that could do things, that we have never seen before in the NFL. I truly do believe that Mariota will shine. He is not just number one on my big board because he is a quarterback. He is number one on my board because he is the most talented football player in the 2015 NFL Draft.
