1. Eli Manning
Without a doubt, Manning is the greatest quarterback in Giants’ history. He shattered the Giants’ record books, breaking records that both Collins and Simms set. Even though his play is sometimes shaky, Manning always comes up big.
Manning orchestrated one of the greatest wins in NFL history in Super Bow XLII by defeating what people called he greatest team of all time, the 2007 New England Patriots. To defeat and undefeated team in the grandest stage of them all is just awe inspiring.
He did it once again four years later, coming up against Tom Brady one more time in Super Bowl XLVI. Manning does what he did best and beat the Patriots once again. Both of Manning’s quarterback play in both Super Bowls were stellar, leading to him winning the Super Bowl MVP award.
Manning is beloved by Giants fans because of what he has done for this franchise. He helped make the Giants one of the most successful teams in the past decade.
