New York Giants: Best WR Combo In NFL?
Odell Beckham Jr. and Victor Cruz are a pretty impressive duo of wide receivers, but are they the best duo in the National Football League?
The truth is that we don’t really know how dangerous this combination could be. Victor Cruz was injured in week 6 of the 2014 season. Beckham Jr. made his first start five weeks into the season. On paper its hard to find a better duo but we do have to wait and see.

The two superstar receivers have very similar styles of play. Cruz is 6-0 and 204 pounds. Beckham Jr. is 5-11 and 198 pounds. Both receivers are excellent route runners with great speed and the ability to make unbelievable catches in the air.
Beckham Jr. and Cruz both had incredible rookie seasons. In 2014, Beckham Jr. caught 91 passes for 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns. In 2011, Cruz had 82 receptions for 1,536 yards and 9 touchdowns.
If Cruz can come back to be the player he once was, the Giants could have the best wide receiver duo in all of football. Who can compete with them?
Well the New York Jets have a great duo in Brandon Marshall and Ereck Decker. The Bears paired Alshon Jeffery with the seventh overall pick, Kevin White. The Falcons have the amazing Julio Jones and the still dangerous Roddy White. I wouldn’t rule out the Indianapolis Colts combination of T.Y. Hilton and the veteran Andre Johnson either.
There are many receiving duos in the NFL that are very impressive. For my money, none of them hold a candle to Beckham Jr. and Cruz. This is just the beginning for this duo of superstar wide receivers. They are going to be an historic pairing.
