The New York Giants play in the NFC East. The NFC East is rich with history with four old school football franchises that have seemingly been rivals forever. But who is the Giants biggest rival? Today we want to hear it from you, Giants Nation.
The Dallas Cowboys would get my vote. The Dallas Cowboys are probably the first team you think of, in terms of the Giants rivals. For starters the Giants play them twice a year and those games always feel like the most important ones.
Secondly the Cowboys have swept the Giants two seasons in a row, and there is certainly a bad taste in our mouths from it. The Cowboys are the reigning NFC East champions, watching them in the playoffs wasn’t an easy task for the heart.

The Eagles seem to have the Giants number lately, and they are surely no friend of the Giants. The Eagles beat the Giants 27-0 last season in one of the most unbearable awful games in Giants history. I cannot think of two coaches who contrast more than Chip Kelly and Tom Coughlin.
The Redskins are a rival, but a rival the Giants have no trouble beating. No division game is easy, but the Giants certainly don’t fear the Redskins. There is a ton of history with the Giants and the Redskins though.
Some consider the New York Jets to be a rival of the Giants. The teams rarely play (they do play this season) but when they do it is a meaningful battle for the heart of New York. The Jets are often viewed as the little brother to the Giants, so I think the rivalry is more heated from the side wearing green and white.
The Giants have played two Super Bowls against the New England Patriots. It is a pretty good bet that the Patriots fans hate the Giants, the team that stole Super glory with a last minute drive… twice. While there is meaningful history between the two teams, the Giants being the victor of both Super Bowls kind of makes it a half rivalry.
