1. Tom Brady
This is has to be the most anticipated game of the year for any Giants fan. By week 10, we’ll know that Tom Brady is ready to go whether he actually serves his 4-game suspension or not. No words need to be said – or typed in this case – to explain how potentially big this game is going to be.
We all know the history between the Giants and Patriots at this point. Each of the last two Super Bowl titles in the Manning-Coughlin era have been raised in victory over Belichick and Brady. It’s easy to say at this point that they have the number of one of the NFL’s greatest dynasties.
Following the Patriots Super Bowl XLIX win over the Seattle Seahawks, the discussion began as to where Brady fits amongst the games greatest at the quarterback position. In my opinion, not only is he the greatest quarterback in league history, but rather the greatest player in the games’ history. Many compare his to Joe Montana, but his work ethic and attitude reminds me more of Jerry Rice who many consider to be the greatest player in league history.
In these classic games, Justin Tuck has usually been the nemesis of the Pats offensive, but with him gone can another Giant begin their own legacy? (Cough, Cough) Damontre Moore or Owamagbe Odighizuwa, maybe? Brady is by far the best quarterback New York will face in 2015, which should prove to be one of the bigger games of the season come mid-November.
