Justin Pugh
Pugh was a first round selection by the Giants in the 2013 draft. Pugh has not been everything the Giants expected at right tackle. He has been up and down. He has had some bad games and some good ones. Pugh has dealt with the questions if he should move positions a lot. He has handled them well and responded well.
Pugh showed that he is a team guy. He may however stay at his position for the simple fact of depth. Pugh can still improve. He is just two years removed from being a first round guy. The Giants hope they have some untapped talent left in him. They hope that he can continue to grow as a player and simply improve the team as a whole.
The Giants need Pugh to step up this season. It is his third season and his biggest of his career for sure. The Giants need him to step up with Will Beatty being injured. They also need him to guide some of the younger players. Pugh will be important for every facet of the offense. The Giants hope that he can be more consistent. This can be a big year for the offense if the line does well.
