New York Giants: breaking down defensive line

Owamagbe Odighizuwa
I’m not sure how much fans can expect from the Pac-10 rookie, but Odighizuwa has got some game. Similar to Moore, he’s going to be a rotational end along the line. We may see him in on third downs, maybe even used as a late-game rusher as Pierre-Paul, Moore, and Ayers leave the field, but I question how much statistical production we’re actually going to see from Odighizuwa.
That’s not to say the Giants don’t have big plans for the 74th pick from this year’s draft. Odighizuwa has a real chance to contribute in New York in a year or two. But if one of their ends goes down between now and September 13th, fans may be getting a little more out of Odighizuwa than they bargained for.
