3. The offense is out of sync
The Giants offense stayed in the game for the entire first quarter of their first preseason game. The Giants walked away empty on every possession. The offense failed to get on track against the Jaguars until the backups found it some life late in the game. The third preseason game was better but not a lot better.
The starting offense at least was able to march down to score a touchdown on one drive against the Jets. It was aided by Jets penalties but it was a decent looking drive. That drive was something the Giants regressed with as Manning threw an interception right in the hands of Antonio Cromartie.
The Giants haven’t been able to stay on the field an awful lot this preseason because of their inability to get on the right track. This only worsens the Giants problems trying to get on the right track. The Giants offense just isn’t clicking at any level. The timing is off and the receivers and Manning are not on the same page.
