It has been one wild roller coaster ride for the New York Giants these past two weeks. Believe it or not, the Giants have surprisingly found themselves in a pretty good position. That is of course, if they win this Thursday night. The Giants face the Washington Redskins in what is a huge game for both teams.

If the Giants beat their division rivals, they will find themselves at 1-2 and in a tie for second place in their division. It’s a bigger game than most people think it is because they can’t afford an 0-3 start and another divisional loss.
Things can’t get any worse for Eli Manning in the eyes of the public. Despite making two critical mistakes, hardly anyone has noticed Manning’s improved play. He has yet to throw an interception and has a 61.8% completion percentage so far.
I never thought I would say this, but right now Manning is putting up better numbers than Andrew Luck. So fans need to seriously take a step back and look at some of the improvements he has made. The Giants’ organization should be thankful for Manning’s clam demeanor in these high intensity situations with the media because if it was anyone else, it could have gotten really ugly.
Manning is finally going to silence his critics and pull out the first Giants win of the year in a very flashy fashion. He will pass for over 300 yards and throw a whopping three touchdowns. Odell Beckham will find a way to get into space in the poor Redskins secondary and help Manning have not only a career game, but also a career year.
Rueben Randle will also find his way into the offensive rhythm once again and come out receiving one of Manning’s three touchdowns. There is going to be a lot of emphasis on the passing game because the Redskins’ run defense is pretty stout. The Giants’ running game will repeat last weeks performance and put on a poor show with the exception of Shane Vereen.
The Giants win finally pull out a win with confidence, putting on a lead early in the game a sustaining it without an issue. The team clearly needs to work out some of the kinks and get some chemistry going. The eventual return of Victor Cruz will help the Giants become more consistent.
Prediction: Giants 27 Redskins 17
Eli Manning: 320 Yards and three touchdowns
Odell Beckham: six receptions for 110 yards and two touchdowns
Rueben Randle: four receptions for 40 yards and one touchdown
