New York Giants free agency is officially under way! Big Blue has agreed to terms with a returning Jason Pierre-Paul and cornerback prize Janoris Jenkins (previously of the Los Angeles Rams). There will be some nitpicking about the moves: coin-flipping for Jenkins over Sean Smith; potentially sacrificing Robert Ayers’ ten fingers for JPP’s nine; the NY-Greek chorus anticipating Reese’s negligence at linebacker. All in all, New York’s bottom-feeder defense is top priority and leading conversation starter, and they’re already off to a promising start. But, what about the offense?

That leaves the NFL’s No. 8 most potent offense of 2015 biding their time out of the spotlight. While the Giants are rightfully more worried about stopping opponents, pressuring quarterbacks and holding leads… why not make the strength of your team even stronger?

The Giants still have a lot of space under the salary cap, which allows New York to sneakily add health and depth to the pass catchers, or set up the running game for closing out wins.

If halfback Ezekiel Elliott lands with the Giants at the No. 10 draft pick amid all defensive deficiencies, it’s only further indication that Odell Beckham Jr. and Ereck Flowers can never have enough friends.

So which offensive weapons should the Giants be marginally targeting? Because it’s the 21st century, let’s marginally begin at QB…
