We continue our extensive review of the New York Giants draft history by counting down the top 10 best fourth round Giants draft picks of all-time.
In case you missed the previous three rounds, here are the all-time top 10 Giants draft picks of the first round, second round, and the third round. While recent Giants drafts have yielded some potential superstars in the first few rounds like Odell Beckham, Jr., Weston Richburg, Justin Pugh, and Johnathan Hankins, the later rounds have been full of misses with the lone exception so far being Devon Kennard.
Big Blue didn’t have a fourth round draft pick last year because it was traded away to snag starting safety Landon Collins. In the 2014 NFL Draft, the G-Men selected running back Andre Williams out of Boston College. Williams was a beast his rookie year, but took a backseat this past season.
In 2013, the Giants picked Syracuse quarterback Ryan Nassib, who has seen very limited action behind Eli Manning and could be used as trade bait in this year’s draft. The most recent fourth rounder to impact a season was 2009’s Andre Brown and that was only after he was cut by a handful of teams.
With that said, maybe this list of top 10 Giants fourth round draft picks of all-time will inspire GM Jerry Reese to not turn on auto-pilot once the third round has concluded…
