The Giants have scored just 14 touchdowns on the ground since the start of the 2015 season, and no matter who lines up under center next season, Big Blue is in need of an upgrade at running back. Orleans Darkwa has shown some promise this season, but New York needs a game-changer out of the backfield.

The 2018 draft class is expected to feature plenty of talented running backs, but Freeman could prove to be a steal in the third-round. The Ducks 6-foot, 238-pound playmaker has amassed 5,621 rushing yards, 814 receiving yards, and 64 touchdowns at Oregon. Kiper has ranked Freeman the No. 7 running back in this year’s draft class, and he could be rising on many NFL teams’ big boards after a bounce-back senior year.
