5 New York Giants making the most of their preseason snaps

No. 1 – Kerry Wynn
Kerry Wynn has been nothing short of sensational this preseason. The five-year veteran has racked up nine tackles, one sack, one tackle for a loss, and a forced fumble through two games.
Wynn is listed as a second-string defensive lineman on the team’s unofficial depth chart, but Shurmur clearly doesn’t view him that way.
"“Well, he’s pretty multiple. He pass rushes on the interior of the defense. He can play the edge. I’ve been very pleased with what he’s done to this point and I’m looking forward to him having a really good year.” “Yeah, I wouldn’t consider him second-tier. I think, you know, he’s front-liner. He’s a good football player and he’s a big man, he’s long, and he can run. There’s a place in the world for guys like that.”"
The Giants decision to re-sign Wynn to a one-year, $1.25 million deal this offseason looks to be a steal at this point. He has already proven himself a top caliber special teams player and has continued to do so this preseason.
His forced fumble on the punt coverage unit against the Cleveland Browns led to New York’s only touchdown of the game.
Giants fans can only hope Wynn’s preseason success translates to the field during the regular season. He could quickly prove to be a valuable asset both on defense and special teams in 2018.
