No. 5 – Fletcher Cox vs. Patrick Omameh

The New York Giants will have their hands full with Philadelphia’s front-seven in Week 6. Both Brandon Graham and Michael Bennett can make an impact off the edge, but it’s no secret who the Eagles’ top defensive player is.

Fletcher Cox can disrupt an entire offensive game plan from the inside. He is currently the second-highest graded interior defensive lineman through the first five weeks of the season, according to Pro Football Focus.

Cox is likely licking his chops ahead of Thursday’s game, as he draws a favorable matchup against Giants right guard Patrick Omameh.

Omameh has not lived up to his three-year, $15 million contract yet this season, but the offensive line as a whole has not performed. The six-year veteran has struggled in pass protection and with his run-blocking through five games and now faces his toughest test yet.
