N.C. State QB Ryan Finley

Ryan Finley has the Wolfpack off to a 5-0 start and is arguably the ACC Offensive Player of the Year at the midway point of the season.

The 6-foot-4, 212-pound Boise State transfer is completing 69.5 percent of his passes. He has thrown for 1,621 yards with 10 touchdowns to three interceptions. His biggest challenge comes this weekend against No. 3 Clemson, which could eventually determine the Atlantic division winner.

Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney is well aware of the talent Finley brings to the field and believes he will receive plenty of draft buzz in the coming months, via The State.

"“He is a legit pro. I don’t know when he’s going to be drafted, but it’s going to be early. He is a very good football player. We’ve had the chance to see him, obviously, the last couple of years, growing into his role. He has complete ownership of what they do. … He is a very gifted thrower, very accurate. And he has great command of everything they’re doing.”"

N.C. State’s senior quarterback is surely one to watch in the second half of the season and could very well play himself into a first-round selection.
