The NY Giants have three wide receivers who fall into similar spots on many fantasy football rankings, but which will bring back the best value?

The NY Giants will roll out their triple threat at the wide receiver position in 2020 which will consist of Sterling Shepard, Darius Slayton, and Golden Tate. All three players are talented and had some great games with Daniel Jones at quarterback but none of them truly emerged as his clear cut favorite target.

All three seemed to find their own chemistry with Jones. It will be interesting to see who is the first of the three selected in drafts. Regardless all of them can be of value. Keep in mind the NY Giants” best wideout still might be the third-best weapon each week behind Saquon Barkley and Evan Engram.

Sterling Shepard battled injuries again in 2019 but still played 10 games.  He had 57 catches, 576 yards, and 3 touchdown catches. His best game of the season came with Daniel Jones in Week 3 against the Bucs.

In that epic comeback, Shepard chipped in 7 catches 100 yards and a beautiful touchdown where he was able to dive, cover the ball and barely stay in bounds. His second-best game however happened with Eli Manning in week 15. In 8 games with Jones, Shepard had over 50 yards just 3 times.

Golden Tate was a veteran presence and made some big plays but had just 49 catches after returning from his 4 game suspension.  Tate still had 6 touchdowns, and should still have at least one solid year left under his belt.

Darius Slayton emerged as the NY  Giants’ best touchdown scorer as a fifth-round pick and looked damn good doing it. Slayton had 48 catches, 740 yards, and 8 touchdowns. Slayton didn’t have the most efficient season (56% completion and his touchdown numbers may regress but he’s still the most likely option to lead the team in receiving touchdowns again).

He’s bigger, faster,  stronger, younger, and has a great repertoire with his fellow rookie quarterback.

How does the NY Giants’ skill-position player’s speed compare to the rest of the NFL?

.When drafting in fantasy football most teams will not go into the season with any of these NY Giants receivers as starters so you should go with the most upside. Slayton, Shepard, and Tate have the most upside in that order.

Slayton is young and fast and was great at finding the end zone. Shepard and Tate have similar skills but Shepard is younger and when healthy looked to be more of a favorite target of Jones; he also is a better boundary receiver than Golden Tate who also plays out of the slot.

According to Daniel Jeremiah of the NFL Network, Big Blue has the fastest group of skill position groups in the NFL. That statistic lends well for one of the top 3 NY Giants wideouts to put up an awesome year.

The NY Giants are expected to try and be a fast-moving and explosive team. This can help all three players be valuable assets especially when you consider draft-day cost.

With an improved offensive line, a healthy Saquon Barkley, and a sophomore Daniel Jones the NY Giants receivers might be major fantasy football bargains, especially Darius Slayton.
