Quarterbacks (3)

Who’s in: Daniel Jones, Cooper Rush, and Colt McCoy

Who’s out: Alex Tanney, Case Cookus

Analysis:

Not much to digest here.

Jones is the team’s unquestioned starter behind center for 2020 and hopefully many years to come.

Rush was brought in specifically by Jason Garrett to continue to develop as a primary backup for the future. Joe Judge was impressed with Colt McCoy enough to ink him to a one-year deal.

This leaves Alex Tanney in the dust as his days as a Pat Shurmur favorite are over. Cookus is an intriguing young prospect who may be on the team’s extended practice squad in 2020.
