The New York Giants wrapped up their 2021 Draft this past weekend. The team added plenty of talented players, all six will have different roles, expectations, and impacts in 2021.

New York is  headed into different and unique situations where some guys will find playing time right away while others will have to sit back and wait their turn. Each player should make the roster barring an upset here or there.

The NY Giants will have big expectations for their entire rookie group.

They will need to come in and make a positive impact on the team both on and off the field. It’s a refreshing outlook for 2021 and 2022 as well, where the Giants added three extra picks in the first four rounds of the 2022 draft. Doubling three of your top four draft assets was a wise decision to look forward to for next year.

Here, we rank each rookie’s projected impact on the Giants in 2021.

#1. Azeez Ojulari

Projected Role; Starting EDGE Rusher/Outside Linebacker

Azeez Ojulari has the best chance and highest upside of any NY Giants rookie this season to make the most impact.

Ojulari can and should start right away due to a lack of starting pedigree off the edge and his natural talents and pass-rushing abilities. Ojulari can be used in run situations and in pass situations as both a pass rusher and coverage linebacker.

If Azeez can harness his raw gifts, he should be a massive steal for the Giants at #50 overall in Round Two.
